1. It's cool./ P+ N1 m' r; ?% C  I7 }! i" d/ T9 U

, f. (可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
/ S% E0 s  }; o5 F# W    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool. ; {* J6 u/ ^/ ~2 J) s  }) v, Y
    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)0 @5 i# k6 ^* I. U6 b! A
/ t0 W5 ?- `- i3 |, n
主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。 V! W7 a7 W/ g
    She (He) was cool in the past.
6 x1 b) c8 R4 c+ j9 B; y) H    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫) 2 j6 [! S0 z0 D8 s: x. ~
    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人)
  w, J0 P3 o* |( b) u9 r6 T
( ~& K! B) Q( g& p- I: |3 g但是如果说:Are you cool?
    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
4 K, c; g1 L$ R9 Q, f. a8 k    emotional. 2 ?6 E6 q; S+ d3 w& S1 k
    (注:许多华人把 cool 译成「很酷」) 9 P# b( S4 m# {. Q
" l7 d+ ~+ U( o
2. Are you trippin'?: ^& g9 u6 Z; x1 X5 H
$ j. @, v+ w# F# q0 K0 A
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
$ r$ ~3 w! O3 S) n* ]9 t: z6 z( x" f    They are trippin'. (= tripping) 8 Q, v. z1 |3 m8 N& _
    She (he) is trippin'.
$ E' [0 z8 e8 N. kMr. A must be trippin'.
7 {) e% q% ?/ n. 8 ~( \" r, b/ S/ J  B1 t
/ |7 g8 x, y" S  A& ~! D+ J2 Z
3. He is a nerd0 g7 {8 W/ u  t$ d

(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
4 C& O  s7 v8 k: Y8 `/ S5 q' m    He used to be a nerd in high school 8 F9 k# S, Z3 ]& b9 G9 _. A

, s7 s) I- ~0 y; }* T4. Yo baby
1 F, `8 q* p* N1 J- r
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: ) l/ v% ~5 ~3 }% Y0 K; V
    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
9 B: t; M6 l+ Z/ Z) o    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
8 w8 `$ ~  s, T) ?
, z6 q2 @& \# P$ w9 o7 _5. She is a ho2 y8 Z/ V: S" [: b1 s1 G7 ~
6 {' p' h& t3 l" M  E: P; [
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
& {5 d3 \" Z& j: v  ~$ A    They are (were) hos.
$ r, J: j$ G. z* z    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.)
, D# {/ R  y3 h- K" d+ ^* {. ~" S% k% m) m2 o
6. Catch you later!8 g. G+ F4 `' o- L: \

(a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等) / |  B- D1 Q" _) v
有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again. 9 t( h+ h& U! d' E, d# ^
