P7 W5 `1 K8 F ^- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- u) a. `$ p8 \" m& G- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.4 ]' D2 f6 `, i! p3 z, `
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP: Z) p) K; x; C& B+ X5 A2 p/ D
- provide support to ISP staff, A' G _$ }0 u/ C R
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members; @7 ~/ P ~1 a
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities! R2 p; M/ g' ]
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
2 T* c6 t9 Z6 [- j- J9 H- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants. h+ o# |0 y3 b: P
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals( B9 O$ K2 i- i4 n! f' H
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
1 L& e, g: f' G9 R- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.3 J7 r& x9 r7 L; V& \; ^/ h/ I
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
) f, O, B. N, n& k- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

- B" ]' U+ ~" T4 {! U+ f- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered4 c0 G5 B8 {8 w! T) ~' w* s' p
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
' b- n2 X; D! {3 [* O9 q- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers( M3 I& S% M' z* w
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
. M# P0 |0 i3 J+ k) {- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
. S1 D) D; m/ e4 r* i) f/ [- good interpersonal and people skills
) P% e1 x- r, y7 W& m- good organizational and coordination skills
