FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
0 U& W" n# i- R3 N  e7 N+ r$ {•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
0 `: l% `7 n: T7 Y) [; x4 N( G•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
* }4 \2 `8 f" A" q2 v•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
6 i0 u! J. e% }. K•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
