Graphic Design Specialist
Permanent full-time

FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

, v/ H% f. y7 T( M+ tDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
: q# R; @, g; N, D6 M5 R8 Q•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
, F6 N  r  P2 l7 m•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
8 ]* V& @2 z. Y) v: O- a: K•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

$ n- h0 A, d; S# y# h  ESKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.

•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
