Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
! Z( Y8 v3 s5 ] r9 X7 L+ bUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team1 J* b: U) }* ]+ n6 } {
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
; y- C! R; O6 R9 ~5 HMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
% W+ C$ E0 u7 h+ E1 i
v& u( K9 s3 q$ `* d6 [To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.$ h4 K6 r$ E6 M. g" ?- u) d
/ Q7 u( D ^( ^0 l( JJob Qualification
& m2 a* |& H& u+ g7 oMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
$ c+ c2 }& X# G, gMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
7 j' n8 S9 X- T. D: xSchool)! _5 H8 _' U9 Q6 k( ^
Must have supervisory experience& F1 Y% |, u$ ]
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
' F4 N# F# q7 PMust be computer literate' ~9 H' m, P5 G. E7 Q0 t0 s
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
5 o: J0 T: {. a, qMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
/ g) B8 ]( [8 Z" k1 t$ PMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills- j1 N5 K; n; i% i2 \* B, ?
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already! }" D, m. C6 K0 c" Y& E0 a" G3 a
