Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team8 F" p2 \5 ^* j
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal' a" s4 Y& G9 ]( A: O
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).$ s5 H* r1 k1 j, Y. c
1 E; g4 V7 z/ n9 g
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

5 Z; P/ ?, x) S3 ?Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services! S0 l. @6 f/ e
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s3 E! O# x9 Z5 u V1 y3 _ r
School)9 v% l, v O4 b0 b' A2 o
Must have supervisory experience v5 c6 f' F% F! B, W0 i- w3 Z
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
; f) E: q! G5 j# xMust be computer literate7 O, A- t( Z3 i
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
2 A7 H V4 x) L6 G) q5 {) [Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
