We are currently recruiting for an intermediate level C# analyst for one of our provincial government clients. It is a 1-year contract with possible extensions, and work location is Edmonton, Alberta.

3 B3 f4 ^1 Q% RReporting directly to the Team Leader and indirectly to the Associate Director of Royalty/Tenure/Communication Applications, the Systems Analyst(s) will perform requirements gathering, maintenance, enhancement, development, and testing tasks on existing in house desktop and/or web applications. The prospective Resource requires a broad knowledge of object oriented technologies, C# programming experience, experience in development and maintenance of large applications, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to function within a team. The ability to lead requirements sessions with business, and formally document the requirements identified in the sessions, is vital to this position.

- Performing program modifications and enhancements with minimal direction;

4 P5 L) M1 R: b, N* g! I- Providing impact analysis of proposed business changes on the application, in terms of development effort and processing;

5 b! q# s, J8 Q- Developing and executing test cases and scenarios and documenting expected and actual outcomes;

( F4 Y- f$ D, t- z$ o* c. o4 g1 W- Providing resolution to problems arising in the production version of the application;

& o+ a: c/ b4 s* q( E- Leading a subset of the larger team in a particular short term enhancement effort;

- Developing programs to extract or convert data for use elsewhere;

  ?5 m3 S6 x4 T- Adhering to quality assurance guidelines and maintaining quality assurance on all deliverables;

1 O# Y7 T( B3 T- Liaising with testing teams, client community, and operations areas;
