I need your help on how to interpreted the following sentence, which is excerpted from a UA document. ( K6 u9 H1 w7 v! Z
7 G6 a' E5 s; E% m9 k"A student's progress is evaluated on completion of academic studies for Fall/Winter" e% R+ _2 }2 D/ t7 a9 B5 n; w. Q- ~2 t1 v* h8 f# t" T
My question is which of the following two interpretations is correct? p! i) q1 `1 I% q+ w9 [; m( y: h! j% a1 b
1. The progress will be evaluated on completion of Fall studies (First year student)( H" A; n9 v4 W; I; W
2. The progress will NOT be evaluated UNTIL completion of both Fall and Winter terms? , J+ j: s0 k5 u: e# }2 P: j( C# v( O

"A student's progress is evaluated on completion of academic studies for Fall/Winter" means the evaluation would be made at the end of each of Fall semester and Winter semester.
