 Proactively and independently develop initiatives in ethno-cultural communities that
4 _5 b, b/ @" w& O6 r6 D: f# zincrease their capacity to participate fully in the community $ O" t$ @7 N( V4 W5 ~6 x8 B
 Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders.
, t! Q0 _& Y6 Q! W- J" H2 m6 t$ r Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation
( s9 @. T$ B4 R Q Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals

 Demonstrated ability to independently develop community initiatives ' y6 b4 ^$ z/ Q# B, y
 Community development and CED background and experience6 a3 i r6 q8 c$ E5 `3 \& ]
 Strong group facilitation skills % R0 _ p& P; n! g! H a7 P( b% {9 I& @
 Experience supervising staff
/ _4 S1 |$ ~' b4 M" J Understanding of cross-cultural issues
$ F7 i- ^ y/ Q% g! y Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing skills
! V" c* k$ \2 \& X: X Strong organizational and Program delivery skills: F. p% `: I$ F" N' }
& t$ |: P9 A. F7 ]4 g) T* R* nEducation/technical skills " j$ D8 o9 z2 ^5 a% z
