; P# T! z5 m5 |9 V9 j& ~Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
  Y  Z) M* Z. {Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
# v9 V7 l$ G* M- ~1 k0 j7 t1 `- pEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
" G8 G8 R3 t( Z$ r/ ]7 W% FOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

8 N/ x/ @2 d: ?; L) yValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
