1 Q m4 E8 t" r m" T/ zDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items W/ | L& r% `: s
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments: g' g8 ?' ]9 x0 J3 v1 e
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound4 L' b2 X: t9 G% `, |3 U0 B2 z( g
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead- Y6 M- @: m- z4 @; s A5 N8 d
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.+ a( x$ \( L3 {0 l9 S
High School diploma; previous driving experience required. l5 S( ^& n. |
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification. A* [: Q# B5 x! i3 c d
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
