Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
_- b+ j0 z: U+ Z) t2 UProvides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
1 i9 f* d: L$ d& Q: @Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed, w7 e, [) J) y9 y3 i

( T, E# S6 C& iQualifications
" A% b1 d3 M7 K4 ]* B$ CDiploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
/ V; @0 I0 s4 XDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
f) L: z. m& C) D0 ] V/ rSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset
3 S4 j5 G3 k( F0 T; k) gKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
H1 V! x$ w1 S0 `2 u7 hFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
