Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

7 I- j9 b! X* I* R3 PResponsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
; a$ q$ h% Q& }, A, ?Experience and Education:
0 J* `! ]4 \. s( A1 S; Q: l2 R/ B9 `0 B■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
$ U7 V$ f9 V. B+ F& }6 Q■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
$ N( R+ M% G& H. K9 M! V/ Y■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
- F. a: c( Z+ w■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
