 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.0 h8 I9 v+ v( y4 d- a" M$ H& P9 t
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
: k" P; s2 ]# G, h Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
' ~ ^* B* Z/ ]1 r' q& }8 V Completing required paperwork.
0 w) ]' t" R5 D& F Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.+ `( E; H' K/ r9 `0 ] ~6 ^
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
4 g) d% w% @! `( Q& p# @3 c7 g' m2 r- ^1 W8 b Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
! T- j# ~7 j$ ~+ L+ y Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.0 ~3 B5 [4 m) k$ B
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

Qualifications:* X8 C2 q. N3 ?; q" }
m) m0 z5 r* t( I+ R. g# P
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.; R* j4 Y2 L8 M. T+ t, z
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
' }3 q1 B0 H" C2 x% U4 N: a Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
" f6 K5 {) t1 ?" Q# Q% {+ a, o; R9 D Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.9 o& V$ m) }+ e4 s$ w+ T/ |
 Knowledge of community resources.
L% m1 M9 t* H+ _8 ^3 u+ K Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
$ y1 [3 g$ u# K, t2 M( W Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. ) X7 j* ^) j3 P

. K3 _8 R0 z! ~9 Y: ?This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
