The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

6 l5 w N i, d5 b9 c& _• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
; i. I* m3 n5 k5 {9 I- O0 x• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:
: A9 \9 [9 Y5 o7 p& v: Z• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads4 m0 r0 Q* F/ k$ v. S
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
! w6 }" R) u" [& U' N7 ?: C• Input and manage high volume of data
}9 F- \, p7 c0 A9 F" V• Update and maintain databases9 G" I0 w& g% K6 d% ^
• Generate monthly reports and statistics4 E: Q. N: J9 W
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation8 X+ `0 a2 b$ K! x1 N
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
6 e2 B% f& T6 k" w8 I6 Y• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
' Q6 |9 C) O, J+ ~. k+ L• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

, i2 l1 F. t" E" C. }• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure) n6 u# j) }1 O. E. O7 h
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS + t* U$ H$ C) `& ~
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, y6 Q# z+ ?5 Q+ X# A: ?& M) o7 Q1 ~
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work5 B) s% B9 J0 B4 [
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
M" r4 m- F9 }; D) R0 K• Strong customer service skills
" A6 d+ V6 j+ O5 g) \• Strong organizational skills and abilities/ m2 y. | \1 l R- v9 P* _. k
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
