The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

! v4 {0 g+ }1 M5 A& o/ ?This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team. ?4 P" N+ F" _/ r5 N% H! y

2 K) u) ]9 L- \Reception:
, M+ f5 Q) ^" L% ?6 [• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
7 a+ }4 X& P9 J! R2 B• Answer multi line telephone system

- ]) E }. g- I; i! b; XAdministration:5 f! e8 {1 M; v. V- X
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
/ \6 O G+ \& u3 e- L; |5 |• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
6 r t& O: Q* T3 |. b( R• Input and manage high volume of data
/ B2 J U6 S0 N6 x$ F• Update and maintain databases
! i2 T" O) p( ^! N$ J( A* I4 i, {$ k• Generate monthly reports and statistics# r% B; G9 O* B* o
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
/ C' o. ^ w! S; f• Process payments and complete weekly deposits/ o0 a$ `3 D! ]9 R! j6 @/ V
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
- a/ F; w9 Q" {( A9 }2 C$ A• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors, k7 b. }+ [# T1 R
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre$ q$ [) d& [- u+ T/ D1 m
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients+ e& X. Q& i; a! _2 [ _& A

Qualifications:2 f/ |6 j4 Z. b2 k: X; a
! k" }& V; J% R, u. X* g- u* M7 n
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure& Y8 T! V0 r* f: ^% F5 K! ~; E# N
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 6 Y4 E1 t4 I' b- r4 z1 r
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
