Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

4 H2 V- {4 X& fWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
, v5 i+ H# r3 t8 t/ S6 V" o2 MReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
+ @+ H/ ?' ^2 P% Y( U9 CResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

: X* t0 {' d2 O4 g$ J( fGraduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
% `. a3 v$ n$ X0 T8 `1 _7 eMinimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
" P  K# D: ^# J: |$ ?2 k! pExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
# N" [" Y% l+ c& LUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
3 H4 o! L/ q/ O2 EAbility to work independently as well as in a team
