Major Responsibilities:
# O9 } k; C) V# j0 V5 R$ ]' f• Process research equipment design;- c* S9 {8 Z& C. t
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
2 A$ l- s. n" K5 r z4 ^6 Z• Equipment fabrication guidance;' v2 A0 T8 H% b0 G
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

7 G. U# t" D; HQualifications:. {+ Y* n, \- t- |; ]
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
; Z1 ]( I- I0 ]3 S• Equipment design experience is required;6 y7 Y/ \8 V3 P
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;1 E L, F5 d: k: m' L( `
• Familiar with CAD software;3 W% T5 S: L2 u% G
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;

Compensation:
, ^: M; [- R( dSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
