 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
: E1 X0 h' n" ?. I4 o& W Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
7 h  ]  h/ P5 @7 F) z% d& S Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
3 \/ H1 h, T4 N; x7 s) o Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
; U; N5 f+ _, ]: g/ H( ] Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

3 ^( b* [6 Z0 S- I, I6 E Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
" P6 M, V, c; h, a$ N Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
8 C7 ?% D1 `+ Lstarting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
