Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
! `: }: @! n* `0 k# cManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
8 r1 Q3 e) J, J1 @% CŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
* ]# w; B1 ~: j) z: `& J* xŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
0 W3 S+ g( [5 o3 [& \: x0 XŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
  I4 q. t8 R' L9 Yeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
2 s2 n9 V1 Z! l/ {2 yŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
# i; Y6 {  J$ Y3 vŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
1 W, O2 ]1 m6 Y4 f, D+ @Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
