Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
! m& K7 K; a7 w# v3 k* F* |the organization;
, N. y9 n0 ]3 H; O7 _Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
) `, X- E! M8 IŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
+ m3 {: M8 N' ]support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
% M$ {( k* o: a7 K- N% m( r* DŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
7 H7 w! E. E( |9 H/ _0 OŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
4 A0 v0 U' G- L8 }, T! @4 X6 B: Qeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
% [( I5 \. {# y& d. d% W2 w4 H6 SŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
6 M, D+ {4 S- I* g% V/ mverbal and written.

2 i% a, D% X! s+ U' x# }! X$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
; ?3 U2 b! f' y1 t6 MIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
# _) P/ D' g# odriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
