Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
4 I4 h4 \) d" p2 MManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
8 I' |3 ~, }' I: o9 Dment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
: u; M) o* }8 v, s: K5 xŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
2 H& M2 ~5 f2 B! L5 ithe organization;
. @' w3 e/ _0 W) e. M/ I  RŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
& Z9 ~% C- N/ {Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
- J; [9 z: ?! g" F5 @' J9 bŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
& S, f6 V9 R* x% v+ K) e- }Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- D+ R# j6 U' ~- @$ cŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
7 E. h; h+ |2 D  W- B" m' v1 l' {Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.

$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
