Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
% X' a  d) F' j( @) E+ ~Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
3 R( N3 ~- w5 y& jment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
4 r' I, q& [. T; a( S, r! k6 cThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 c4 J" s% l5 g8 Z9 f! QŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
# ]- y+ |6 U6 m8 v7 @. e' k3 lthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
7 V1 H; a  _& _6 c8 k# [Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
3 H9 H- ]6 X, s4 I6 ysupport;
5 D: G4 H$ F4 s/ K  a* k8 wŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
  Q* f. O( i' f! z: w& uŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
: K8 V3 u8 R  i" ?, m) bŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
; S# f) C, X0 V- Y) }9 b6 SŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
) N# ]# ?; n+ d6 tŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
" |% ^  _& W! v7 v6 V" I( k7 [education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
- y  U! q* u7 L% Overbal and written.

# ?% l3 S) s( p; ^$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
3 B9 y; f$ ^/ Z( O/ u# D  RIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
2 D* ~* U% ?* b4 y2 j! B8 c6 Psuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
