Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
6 E( K8 I2 e7 pManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
8 v/ d: r/ A9 m* ^8 bThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
! Y) T6 b6 }% C6 W# l3 u( ~Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
9 w& N- b  D0 j1 fthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
. t+ Q% C" S# E' k# ?- _1 C2 IŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
9 w5 y8 G: s! O; Z- i# X6 wimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
. a& e$ ^6 \; x; kŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
) C4 t$ g- q& heducation and experience;
+ y/ j* p2 |0 ~8 B1 rŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
+ F, n; x! N& ^2 b+ MŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
7 k, C, o/ ]9 p0 \6 ]Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
4 C) u4 c. p) _# r& m8 U+ N, u2 Z* qverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
7 \5 M. r- Y) V1 A& S+ _$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
