2 G2 ?3 F- `, m8 J* q# X" \Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
0 X8 S8 g& S% G6 K  rthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
4 J1 i0 Y. i7 P# sDuties and Responsibilities
/ t6 y4 @3 P/ q4 OCustomer Service
9 z2 F2 O; T. M) M& e0 L# v% ~• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
+ e9 O4 f: [& U" u; W) \% e• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
9 k2 R' _1 u! Plooks under 25 years of age
7 S: H9 H# m1 T5 ]3 J8 n6 PStore Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
4 z" n1 z  F  B$ ?& R$ X# l' Y• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
: k3 a( L7 ~9 V- q8 @* C9 y- s• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
. a: U; n3 d/ t7 b3 ?) k$ x• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
6 V* ]# [/ H7 C/ x2 H' r, @• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

' p3 s6 G- d& R: I" `6 S• High School graduate
2 S* i* N5 n/ }2 |• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
3 a# ^+ P3 m4 P( @5 m6 s, d' @• Good problem solving skills
* a& m- T! G# `% p• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
7 h; q' X9 ?* X% vchanges in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload

1 R0 m7 D! J, ?3 q5 d" i9 a• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings

2 J9 F7 ~8 }0 j0 C' n• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
