Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

- h, y( s2 E- U$ p0 Z8 ?& R Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

* b; x5 x* H- p' qWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

, x& e4 D& Q: `/ y( Q  M" uLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

$ E: w5 X2 p+ o& _  j% p/ v! QWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

3 k, x3 s2 F) t+ f" B. @2 X) N$ f+ mWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
1 w  z! m: j- z4 f+ E: I) Q* g' y, {Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

- y3 m% I1 w% N% TSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

( v; n: B8 z; ~: J% B& m( DAssist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

0 R- p7 U9 V. m3 f. Q- F- ?10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

  k$ b' C) t4 W7 H. ^% JGas industry experience preferred;

+ b  E! `% V+ b: h6 LExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
4 O/ W9 _9 [* S/ K0 v4 r) C
Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
  X8 A2 G3 |$ F* P+ F/ ~8 G4 b
' u- }! ^0 w! LStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
