Department Information  
* p8 W( |1 z# l Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
! k0 T( e( o) G" d, _' ?+ O Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;
' F5 l. ]- V" K/ H# ?& `9 ?, D& p4 p
Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

8 K* _5 Y3 I' ]5 ^7 q* r! T, z8 Y: E. {Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

9 d" }% n  x" e9 ]7 l. FLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

HSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

0 }& P. j' O9 k6 QAssist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

& `9 @' w$ E# v Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
) `( ^! R! [/ Y/ W! t. F5 f
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;
# ^6 W/ C  L4 V9 @! `/ A: i
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
# }+ w; G; I) J1 b; S4 e
: O5 \; X4 n" M! X! D3 BExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
( X# z# |0 v7 y& E& [) }3 J6 `6 }
Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
* K% m3 u4 @$ R- a; q
A high degree of personal initiative;
