Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

- X  x! n& [- C$ U4 CKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
2 a9 o/ C1 M( g4 y, A; e! J        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
* c) C+ }* N- N4 f/ v- i
+ f' x7 N, z  ]* K+ a9 N# O7 {QUALIFICATIONS:
3 M% r, F& G. R% H2 d7 p$ P•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
  n* K$ H) J# _% I/ D•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
/ e$ s, j) j( C, X% s•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
