Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

2 O! J" F8 z5 g( N% |KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
( Q4 i( n; ]7 d9 P; \* }- C$ O0 `- `        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
6 S+ M0 K6 N/ b. V$ v; v# i•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
* W! S  _% A: ^- k& s7 Y* z" J# r2 P•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
. U( t1 K8 m  K9 P; t$ \  D•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
