Primary Focus  
$ m7 n8 x$ \; h Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

4 S6 y6 i2 s; ~7 J4 x0 S( gResponsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

End Result :
Electrical critical drawings are up to date and accurate

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards,

Performing site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

: l0 ?& o2 c7 u! S0 `Engaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates,

Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

: k; K$ E1 e7 |% m; NPerforming quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

Applying design expertise with a goal towards continuous improvement.

Providing project managers and engineers with conceptual electrical design for projects of varying complexity,

3 J0 G& G. D% O$ q9 A+ g) FLeading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

, I! x3 U$ }9 _" VIncorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment.

% c) W: c, B3 b Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.
3 s' v) ?* c" Z# m7 O) P
10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.

5+ years AutoCAD experience.
( ^2 {+ j8 L" L* k. A
4 T: S! g5 x3 a) Y  E7 yRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.

# o& i9 J" s( b8 n4 K6 X' ZExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
