8 b" t( K( |! J- h, L3 RAround 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.

8 W8 C' o; ^8 h' N! ~  N. gFire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.

8 d4 g6 A* K# ]7 C6 q# M2 z( s"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."

, F9 r8 Y8 j! o8 d" o* gWilson says fire rescue responded with trucks from three houses because of the flammable chemicals housed in the building.

"When crews arrived there was a male who sustained some injuries during this event who was transported to U of A Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries."
