+ e4 \1 u1 x1 y1 J9 K- \The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution & {( K3 J- F! I, z
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation% Q5 \# d3 t* _8 @- f7 c* _4 p6 d% J
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times7 H% A, A: S, |- G
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
: c. k( I! Y! W" }& _& E) p- J, C( a§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert% T) Q3 \8 u" s" ?1 p7 N
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties$ {3 ?0 ^/ u% Y0 E4 S$ X
§ Special projects as required

" g4 k7 q; _! p! d* K§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues

D, Q4 P$ c$ T3 v. ~' K§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 9 N; Q$ n* T0 q6 L5 u6 L

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives

* y7 I% h$ w7 u§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to# Y, ~6 s4 E* Z+ \* F3 X
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
( p C- Z1 _+ _0 ?0 F V§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

; `% T" Q( D& A§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
