  r' d2 s6 [; P5 w( _  ^( ^The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
( k' ^6 h1 V! ?2 o" X§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
% Y& `6 \% x* i) h# A§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
# f. i) h- {$ r' g1 L8 J§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times- r+ ~( x( \0 ]
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
) V7 U5 x3 L6 o7 {§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
2 V! F0 ?/ P4 f* `§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties

Qualifications:& r5 I4 c4 f7 F
§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
; d% b8 O" d% Q* h. H7 h§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision. n( z9 \' L: i" v5 m
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service6 c; F5 N2 J  }. h% z
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues% ~7 H8 h0 g( j" {
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware
. H; a* E! I) ~! [% z- i6 a§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
- A% M: c7 Z& q§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems6 [6 f' @, {1 `- n, e3 n

Position Summary:
7 C9 ~, _/ N, x8 VThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).   ]9 ^' M, D+ d2 h4 ]& Z

Responsibilities:9 q2 h  f* A  J3 o& ^4 c4 a! R
§ Manage a stable local IT environment
6 j% T  g' O* i- W1 v# [4 Y§ Manage and coach staff in IT group
/ m; a. d% X$ P$ A§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support$ }* m; i. R4 m4 r. w8 \" l
§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
8 z, u& W1 ^0 ?$ s§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
5 N1 k$ U+ k6 B$ S# o# N§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
& K2 W4 \2 q  o" Q9 \§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to% V6 b$ p+ O$ j
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times* \; @) R' [5 P' R
§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access/ ?2 q0 t; ]5 W0 V/ m3 a! f
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
% A0 `4 D4 e1 I- T§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
2 g/ Z6 \) A, v+ Z5 c§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
  N2 O/ I1 w8 ^- x0 U! A! `§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
8 \5 X, p3 k/ W% h§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
% U$ j/ w0 z& ?§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance. P# V1 L/ P% W2 c0 x" P
§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT

§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers8 z3 Y3 w# t2 _" q9 P. U: c$ v
§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance* x9 f) S9 s5 ]% {! b
§ Manage all printers in the building% Z( |! G6 Y8 A7 L  F5 c9 X  O

呵呵,不是manager 就是administration.; |& {8 _2 Z8 J! b: t% r4 r5 J
, o  G5 x8 X7 D+ n( H
在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
