Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb u$ s& |8 X/ x2 b5 y
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
* ]' w* ]) L$ T3 I- r, k# F9 jThe gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume) . }; W+ B8 N1 \& Z/ J
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG$ j" J# \( q' w$ \: F G
( W% {) m# W, o4 x0 ? t
Official gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29( u4 R% X! b; {! {1 ~5 _/ K

Conversion:
