Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb) E+ G2 b( X# q
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then- W# m$ p9 H- E$ m0 ?0 a/ f( x' w
The gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume) ( R) C8 @$ G) b1 M/ Z) s
After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

Official gas mileage is MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29
