Any input on Cutler-Hammer Starter?

Two  cutler –hammer advantage  starters are  doing the same thing:
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the  start and stop buttons on DCS screen  , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
It is a cycle.

$ z/ m- {2 S$ |" g7 gWe isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
Swap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
The problem should be inside the bucket.

When the problem happened, we observed that  the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
4 J" A8 A# H+ ?2 f% e/ r5 vConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we  bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

3 _. ^) ~/ A% u2 w* g" V" oThe next thing we can think of  is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
They  have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered  the connection and tried again.
5 C) Z$ D% q+ }* N+ S It is getting better  this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

Don't know cutler –hammer advantage  starters very well, but had been worked on AB switch gears for a little while, which has two different coils, one to pull the vacum bottles up which employs larger current, another one uses less current to hold the connection---if the second coil fails, it won't be able to seal the connection.
: ~( f) C4 n  k- {# KSince your cutler -hammer works couple times,  I guess 侠客行 is right, or the sealing connection is just worn out.
