8 v6 K/ {; @4 X# w# {( q9 I- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
0 k$ C4 ~# y% W* U% B6 O8 U- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
$ _: A/ @/ z* h* B" Q- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
' W1 `1 j' O9 }/ Q+ ?# y3 o- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
! y( {5 I6 _, }$ _+ ~' o- Tend ovens which cure metal coating
Requirements:
•        Completion of secondary school is required
•        On-the-job training will be provided
