# I) ~7 h3 x/ F- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
; ^, h2 Z- A' z. A" L- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling9 X. B$ f* s& W6 P( b
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups [. `$ f' i& I
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs' T) O) O6 L6 W/ g4 I& q+ d
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health# [7 S# j# j% [/ C- U) P2 f

1 O4 k) I2 M8 Y! E, LKey Qualifications:
- D0 Q9 ?8 v6 O- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
7 {3 z4 ]0 A& `3 L1 U- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
3 j2 | B) p8 p8 w+ N, ? N- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others7 Q9 {* r9 `7 J! N
- Experience doing program development
% S3 w* f& b- G. \& A- Strong organizational and coordination skills
) m* t1 [0 k" W/ `$ t/ @5 j- Self-directed and able to take initiative
6 G* u( R2 z* h6 o- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset; c) z0 R7 z$ g$ w. n+ J" V
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license* Z# Z8 k% [9 L& i" h
9 O0 I5 t( p4 Q$ F; P& K: G S! Q7 k5 l2 k5 j, k* d
Assets:
* E% T5 R5 x! N& M/ G6 K. a3 y- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
* Z c: h9 X: B3 M$ s- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
9 s" q: Y' _" R1 p V2 @- An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
