THE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:
24 HOURS OVER 4 MONTHS
This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.

All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
: e/ y4 i$ O3 G) C8 o7 P•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
: R9 B& C: p+ N. ^) L  K0 D•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
  _: }; m6 L" R3 {: w: a- Z; b1 U6 i2 q  a•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
•Be eligible to work in Canada

•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning

The maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
