& a% o* S1 ?) p' [" N' aTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:
24 HOURS OVER 4 MONTHS
This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
( p$ ]  o! r+ c; J•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
8 D) I8 P3 V0 p% M4 X•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
5 a  _1 v: I. b+ i•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
: k* E! W2 d! u/ R8 m9 V4 _' u. t' T•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less

•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop

•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning

The maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
