. H9 X1 L4 N; nThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

You must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
, s1 @0 K0 \/ P1 z) m- i• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
& y$ F6 }5 Q4 u- l& U• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
• Citizenship documents: Permanent Resident Card or recent Canadian
