0 ?' d) g" m& h! }) B6 cCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. ) M, ]1 I. w3 a+ X• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.

• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms. W1 d; g# k4 R& Z

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.# N- {9 y5 q' `
/ V) S J. h" l0 o* ^3 s• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

International Projects and Public Engagement/Communications:

• Maintain inventory of communication materials.

" }3 `. k. C6 U, a) s• Identify and maintain a current media list and database. File all media articles and press coverage of CFCA.

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

( ^, o0 r$ y1 B- A* E• Provide administrative support for public engagement events and mail outs.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.

( i# S' N; l2 F8 x* ?• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.

• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

• Support logistical work required for CFCA’s Annual General Meeting" Q6 z# h0 \$ q* R

• Assist in administrative tasks related to donor recognition and event reconciliation as required.

Skills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.- k4 o9 o9 B* V8 C; x
