/ V8 U4 K% {5 j7 JEDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.2 i0 \( {9 C9 ` Q! j+ X- d) B

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.9 X: _5 i' z9 [! m

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
