Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.

• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

• Preserves materials.
• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.

" Y6 E/ y) }: G; {' O7 E• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
- O7 `. z8 t0 @# ?/ o3 k1 s• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
( B3 X$ `& v& G! O* G• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
$ [" t- g  t) p( A5 o! M• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
2 I# r# l; S7 ?, u2 B• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
8 O& z/ `8 B4 h% [2 M6 g% `& m• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
% b7 Y; h1 G! H! f& J- N  @• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
3 f6 i0 R; V$ q' V, l• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for

/ V$ W7 }6 a# X5 r• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
# x& `5 P: N3 d5 a1 M3 e5 ]) X• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
4 a0 c! s( m! ^• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
: K* i" g6 Z1 h+ r) c• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
9 n. s+ e4 s& @7 g6 s% [# ]' j• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.

Education / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
2 r. ^: A) b$ W7 d$ D  q( D• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
% W) {$ d' L; S$ G6 a: {2 f( n8 a$ w• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
! _+ f3 N6 M4 A• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
7 e2 p. E& o6 r6 Z3 O• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
