请教:如何选购奶酪和牛油

超市里有许多品牌的奶酪和牛油,请问如何选购?怎样吃比较好?

说说英文名吧,奶酪是不是cheese?如果是的话,有几种吃法一是cheese片,做三明治时,夹在面包里吃,有一种是细条状的,可作比萨,还有一种是粉状的可把它加些开水煮成糊状然后浇在烤好的土豆上,也可把cheese粉散在煮熟的意大利通心粉上吃。还有一种小孩喜欢吃的(不到)20公分长的cheese棒,一包里有很多根,就当零食吃。如果你买回的是立方体或长方体的话,就自己动手切成需要的形状,好象有专门的工具卖,其实中国人聪明,就用菜刀也能解决问题。至于黄色与白色的区别我不太清楚。请其他同学补充。' o/ S9 U9 t" a' L# I* e

& I3 M" X1 c3 h$ G6 P你说牛油是哪一种呀,在国内用于起火锅底料。这里是不是butter?如果是的话,分两种,一种叫butter(块状),一种叫margarine(塑料碗装的)就是人造黄油。在洋人的食谱里常用到,至于中国用法,据说butter可以用来作馒头,成为奶油馒头,margarine嘛,烤面包时用,可用面包机烤好切片面包后,再直接涂上,也可涂上后,用烤箱烤几钟。后者好象更好吃些,小心发胖!!

& f% ]/ m- N; Y4 w% SMozzarella cheese (white, no yellow color): for pizza or Italian cooking

Butter is a lot simpler:4 X8 s/ I6 {+ w3 c" q8 u

  r* |5 \& X# k+ vButter stick (regular or light): 1. for cooking (just like the oil we use) or baking (e.g. bread, cake, or casserole), 2. you can also use it for bread spread
' m/ ~& x# M& W% a/ \+ |- ?% u9 RMargarine( soft butter): mainly or spread, on bread, corn… 6 ^% z5 r; P2 I7 m$ o

( d' X7 b) c; f( U& JCream cheese: also for spread, mostly on bagels; sometimes used for some bakery too
