A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Answer multi line telephone system
/ X" R4 h, v0 c) _$ Q% V• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries- x6 o% b- D- k2 \- z! i/ T% y
• Arrange courier services for all departments$ K! ^, d$ p# a8 a( Q
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
. W; G& y5 X9 ~' P: v6 F• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries: _: t8 _- P- `5 s6 O
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 9 N+ C# _; T0 z- g
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration$ d0 M. `+ M' A# E, o- v6 i
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers z4 i( H. @5 W3 }) U1 K5 G
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required# S4 V# H H3 p5 t0 j( ?

Qualifications:" Y7 s+ \1 P' m" U& O: ?2 F1 C
, h1 y" Z7 e8 w( a& S• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
) k3 N' d2 Q% ~2 p3 y1 _: t% x• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
9 F- f3 m$ k1 a5 @/ y1 \4 Z C9 V• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset+ n' X" \- g) I6 e, }
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills ( G/ y, W" x, N: [6 ?2 ]% e" r" j
