& e" ]! U, t- W( X+ R2 i' r3 q* qThere are many other orchid genera that are as easy as phalaenopsis and  only you move one step further  then you will realize many(not all) of them are actually a lot easier than many other plant families. Of course, interest always  precede a trial.

我查了很多资料了,但没有在ZONE3区能过冬的例子,都是ZONE5-6的,但我又最喜欢HIＢＩＲＤ　ＴＥＡ　ＲＯＳＥ．

Cattleya(including SLC, LC, BC, BLC hybrids),
4 J3 V8 j/ ~9 E0 r" Q# hPhrag.( a South American Lady slippers orchid genus),
Oncidium( dancing dolls orchid, you may see them for sale at Homedepot; the spraying yellow flower type is the easiest of this genus),
, s3 Z/ \; }+ v/ ^! CDendrobium( common Asian genus).           OR

Join OSA and go to its monthly meeting where you will see a lot more different kind of orchids and meet many experienced hobbyists that are most happy to answer any questions you may have. They hold sales every month too.
