Key Responsibilities Include:
! h/ r/ ~' N* ]' e; _9 w/ p4 v8 P% r- QActivity Planning and Daily Activity
* H5 Q. M! x9 v8 ]# P' r• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.& Q; u3 A# ]: ?0 `/ R4 [
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. % ^* H6 H8 S0 t3 W+ F
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
$ {8 i* w! z3 \4 T• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.7 l( H, ~9 n- K8 M
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time." S; A% T2 k7 \" h! O+ [7 U4 E7 G. ^' A
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

: J8 O- z5 M- `3 ^( f% ^; U: p• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
7 e9 v* g$ }. u. _ x* P• Experience with children) O8 y) _0 f4 E+ L( a! g& T/ S
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth . P0 o, z' n& B, Z
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.; G, H/ ?7 P* s# c, G3 S+ G8 ^
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
# T' B' G O( K9 J• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources; N/ f( ^' t" o! y* k7 h
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check & y3 F9 z: ^2 [5 E& e/ E
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
