(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
8 m. P2 `) s: f6 [• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
+ q2 V' o& x. R' E: E, g# y2 C3 J• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 0 L# N5 k, \, G, v. q4 t: k2 z
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 6 B6 B9 c6 R7 D3 c
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.3 X( o: H5 c; S7 s2 x% |
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.1 a Q% h$ N5 H' a" N7 l
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.0 e) |8 I9 W1 ^& {- I, C7 x. K
4 e9 r* I1 Q: A5 XThe successful candidate will have:
: N" I* _5 u$ E• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting) Y* D7 Y; y5 y( S; N2 H# T
• Experience with children# s- a7 U; t* N+ c
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
1 R$ W" G% a. Z4 t/ T/ ^4 i% C/ K• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
: o! `6 t0 D* [5 ~8 h9 [' w• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
5 D3 M: D2 ~* z u! z• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
- x7 ]3 u3 p9 N: v) f" m• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check & W% s+ t0 B/ w' h9 R* {
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
