Key Responsibilities Include:
) }8 m6 D, H; x w5 G p$ C j- [Activity Planning and Daily Activity
* [- d A# R+ s) ]- Y- B# c• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.9 O' V" \2 F6 J9 ?$ x
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. H3 p: x+ V4 p7 y; b# m2 H
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
: j3 s, r0 H/ m* L! o* ^• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
5 h- \! c# ?# j/ y• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
! X* Y3 m) n0 y0 I• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:1 S2 ~: H9 ?! `+ J4 T& a
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
. q6 l3 ?- b+ [+ y, X; p8 O• Experience with children
4 @6 `; N) y/ P& V• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
. @/ j% W2 S" q: E# v& m• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.6 ~* c# U" E, R0 Z+ I/ z7 ^
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
- B8 X: e0 V, U0 J; }• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources" v6 j: R$ F0 N8 W$ v( Z
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check ) j) Q, t2 h" @- m6 X' G4 g* a
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check 7 X2 B" [+ K3 D5 n! f
