(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities Include:2 v: a8 E. T4 h0 j8 C( S) Z
Activity Planning and Daily Activity9 J# [ O" g& u% L" t3 F1 C0 G: h: f
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.+ h* ~/ d: Q0 r9 W/ ]
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. # ~+ p) Z% Q. k0 \
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
/ Y0 q& |& I. |( t% `5 D• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
3 k6 k! [9 p& u# u2 r' ^• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.5 i& d3 U+ K' t& K
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:" c U: M7 `! q# u0 R% `
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
: a+ A! U0 G7 H3 D% n; T/ F• Experience with children
9 ?6 T0 m n. B• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth 2 I! z+ ~) K$ }& s/ G
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
9 I1 }) o( T- l/ `5 f* U• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.0 g$ V2 i' E/ k! h2 e
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
( i0 ~! j3 f0 }8 |) i+ Y• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check & B. x2 w' `, [8 |4 R; e
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
