(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school); O8 O0 q% ~' U! |5 r4 l W/ ?2 j

* U$ ?' E$ `5 f5 t' ?) SActivity Planning and Daily Activity
% L0 e" u& {. h+ t6 D• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.9 _7 w4 U! O; ]
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
; `, C& B$ A( c" {• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
7 ?& y$ ~" W, N• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.3 _3 T3 O% _7 }; n: o% |# k
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
& R2 u. A1 ]. u W• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.: ^, E0 Y, H; C! j H% H

The successful candidate will have:+ X3 B( [8 v! | x
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
" Y3 W6 L3 C3 D$ S( v* d9 k. y# Y• Experience with children
$ D @8 X" h+ X• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth 7 Z F& I) M0 { j/ w
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.! A8 G0 q) a8 P8 [. ~1 Y Q
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.1 G2 _* {# p8 [# A
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources, t2 V ~- n9 R3 s$ v+ W+ X
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
* }1 p6 y5 S! |% z h, R: v- F0 x• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check + E! `, [% e" e7 N5 b
