Responsibilities:
Responsible for the following key functions:
Performing product upgrade activities in the Production environment
Participating in data migration and conversion initiatives
Performing changes to software configurations as requested by the customer
9 Q, K: z+ X2 o) E! F0 ?- qPerforming  the analysis, design, development and review of production  scripts (datafixes, queries; ad hoc and production batch jobs - extract and update)
" c2 x8 y2 F3 y* X0 KTroubleshooting production issues
Participating in the development and documentation of standards and procedures for work performed by the Application Support team
& b  V2 x( c' B% @( D. lMaintaining information required to support products after implementation (e.g., changes to customer contact information, changes to authorized approvers, etc.)
Providing technical and work management of 1 – 2 analysts on small projects
Providing application and environment training to other SSD Operations employees, primarily other Application Support Analysts and Customer Support Specialists
$ C9 K. m/ [& p- @9 L% h0 NDeveloping tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Application Support team.

General:
% I! W% `6 |/ L3 xDiploma or certificate in the Computer Systems field plus 4 or more years of practical experience in application support and/or software development

# G* Q+ J' V: r9 _4 h6 iDetail-oriented, strong analytical ability, exceptional trouble-shooting skills
Strong organizational skills; must be able to juggle a number of complex tasks at once
/ p/ Y/ n  C1 [5 A' ^: xStrong communication skills, both written and verbal as incumbent will be gathering requirements and presenting solutions to clients, both internal and external to SSD.

Experience supporting applications in a UNIX/ORACLE environment
Demonstrated experience with UNIX shell scripting and SQL/PL-SQL
