Administration of production UNIX (AIX), Windows, and Linux server backups in a Dynamic Drive sharing environment. 9 {* \ K5 h; @1 [
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers of standardized configurations and following ITIL standard administration processes.
5 w( P8 v& g% h2 r/ BMaintaining and implementing Enterprise Backup solutions in IBM SAN configurations, IBM SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software. , \7 n6 s; I$ j" @( t7 n
Maintain hardware relating to servers and tape libraries in a raised floor datacenter. 9 y/ } d0 b9 [ m
Working with hardware and software vendor support personnel to efficiently resolve any issues with systems being maintained.
& ~9 E" D7 a) e' c( B* E; rEnsuring all backups meet audit and SLA requirements. Archiving and recall backup reports for auditing purposes. 9 h! T; m. o' j
Help implementing enterprise wide system monitoring tools to monitor production Windows and UNIX servers running a variety of crucial business applications. 6 W& n N* e: i2 q
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS:
/ ^0 w- Q& y8 r! n& L4 p4 uThorough knowledge of Windows operating system and familiar with various Unix flavors like AIX, Solaris, and Linux 8 E# W8 `0 p2 m3 D+ Z

Experience with enterprise tape backup solutions - backing up and restoring Solaris, Linux, AIX and Windows servers with both Oracle and SQL databases.
