M: Yeah, that is true. But here I used bummed and bummed out. They both mean to be unhappy or upset. 4 i* f# Y" s6 ?0 ?1 t

# e/ N7 i# n8 c7 x.

M: I’m really bummed that I have to get up so early! I’m also bummed out that Professor Johnson is teaching this class.6 }+ h. Y% K1 E' X6 u8 o& t9 r

7 Y) n+ I/ t) n6 H9 LL: O5 T# `* s- ^

; l; [$ |( N% r, }% W0 FM: Ha ha. Very funny. But you are right, if I got turned down for a date I’d be bummed. I’m also bummed that summer vacation is over./ G% ^& Q2 Z  Y) w8 v# ^

9 j8 P7 A/ `9 N" _* o$ n.

# e$ k3 p5 B$ o0 J- NL: 打棒球不能说是 chill out。不错,要到比较安静的地方才能休息。 每个人还不一样,你喜欢坐在咖啡馆里看书,你知道我喜欢到博物馆去。能不能说到酒吧间去 chill out?/ |+ F$ {4 t, h7 v( [6 ?9 }

5 M. U4 Z/ w! C( BM: Sure, but we usually only say that if the bar is quiet and not too crowded.
5 @( w8 X* D- b1 K; V: q/ m- S' j2 o6 l# Y; t/ d
