Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
8 p0 }* C* J  s. k- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
* d, w: g' [9 X1 ^# E. U& c7 E- Provide orientation for parents
) z3 P; w! N9 G" L0 G+ X- Find sponsors to enhance program
& q2 h& {2 Y7 H- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
; o& E0 K; u& o/ E3 v+ a# @
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
8 l) U* O4 V/ F( l9 Z# ^- communication skills
" x: E9 ^; V: J9 ~5 o( _- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
* Y$ ?. u6 K* z- good computer skills
, s* O- u, z! U1 m% L  f- leadership abilities
/ _% r& V5 W% K$ b9 O# P- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
