Housing Program Worker

, Y3 F. Z, H# b. a8 ]Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
. B: N) u9 J5 O2 [  s To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
4 u! O# T' m* u To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
4 b% M% H) h- G& ^ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
+ U) C( ^0 p. S( i 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
% @. o7 {8 O7 v8 ^. R Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
( \# R* J7 ^& H8 t2 G Current CPR and First Aid certifications
; f7 P7 e' M9 ] Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
