The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
' h+ Y8 ~- K; v( ?( u• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities / ~# W- e! e" v* a X( J
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
3 o8 @! H8 e% M, ]• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities5 C' C/ H) U% f3 p* u8 W" G
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
$ h# Y9 K) W3 R$ w/ K1 r, p• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities* I4 }2 A$ @9 |" F& K1 {: j

Program Delivery
! u' l% c9 i, e8 _• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
3 B* R% G8 T2 }7 t& C• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
# `9 J9 q% F1 e, ~" {: m• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required( @3 n3 \3 H- G" Q4 b1 H. |' n
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
/ E* r2 `8 L# R3 r• Review service action plans and support programs as requested( K$ X% ~5 G6 p2 a7 J+ S6 g# a) C
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
) G# W2 l0 o# p) O• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director* k: ^+ r1 [) L5 Y8 d1 n( C
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review- n) {3 L4 U# K a( t
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
* D- c. q- u1 w2 L
) ]1 h# O7 a3 ^. {• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field8 r }8 }! e+ q/ o. r
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities( f* B9 Z. |6 S
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
9 B8 L' Y- h. Y+ J1 `0 Y• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations0 B- [2 \3 }* G% L. L
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
