The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon.( C' v# {& V! h# E
6 X/ @1 C+ G$ t8 y$ s$ I' |( WPolice said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious.$ O1 U% _0 O' a3 S. G/ q* X
+ F" s& u6 O# p$ i, A8 O6 [1 eStauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6.
