Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
* l- D. j4 k5 f/ p9 i' X+ N To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
# P: X. S% T1 p% c To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

# Y) p& X0 Z9 s. MQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
9 {: C- @% J1 B, H Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
! ~0 d+ b$ C) Z/ f Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- D: u7 I3 ?1 N2 i" S Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
