Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
" e- ~5 v' a+ O8 ~6 z- y( x3 v' b To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
+ c1 h- Z3 }9 o  s' V5 u To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
' h5 C% Y& d- V: z To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
2 F& }2 |5 q/ e0 e6 U4 s- p1 F To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
3 X5 ?, {: Q9 p/ D# j4 F To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
9 Y0 d1 U& W: w8 p! P( o" q 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
$ N& R$ A7 N( a; d2 d$ T Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
