Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
0 v5 l) ]% Z+ G+ q2 i. F To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
+ Y7 h2 a* j" E: @: y1 ~: j& K7 } To help promote the program in the community.
3 ~. V9 q5 O& A9 @ To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
' e! r6 z/ U; v0 N To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
  e2 H5 {# K; i4 _, s To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
, ], g4 S$ A; j6 f7 k* p; x. j To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
" L6 `9 |. a9 E' P; k To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
: U& H# c4 N/ |4 d' O Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
, {& L  O2 G  _/ c& {6 w5 c: q, f Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
