. z* B. Y& ?' W- Organize focus group(s)
+ _6 E9 H: U# N: k- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
: u' b  I8 e, {% f- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
2 X9 A( E+ Q' v& _# ?- Find sponsors to enhance program
7 ?1 z8 i. {* v" g- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

6 b5 W, D: x# D8 b% V5 O' a- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
2 c0 O) j" g) j* |7 s- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
/ X; t1 y; r& ~/ b- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
4 I6 e, D" P% z8 ~0 [+ D- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
2 D; O, d) r: |! R- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
