Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
. l% k5 E3 b4 l/ G9 }- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
0 Z) Y/ [' y" c4 t- Recruit children for summer program
" E* m3 M0 w& E/ P  d- Provide orientation for parents
" M9 a( S2 \$ B5 w; k- Find sponsors to enhance program
$ y& _8 h0 m3 W6 r" Q4 s- Supervise volunteer(s)
4 a4 ?9 c! N8 \1 |) h7 `' z" t- Prepare final report for funding agency
) S2 d% o/ J# p+ B4 s; G5 M1 [0 j
Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
, O, p, k& U8 R4 d% Q- communication skills
7 @- L. H9 ^# z- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
, a# z2 W! Y% ~/ \* i8 ]4 q& s- w- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
  |1 \/ d3 j& m3 f6 y% \. U- good computer skills
4 Q9 S2 S& R9 U* t+ t2 G3 {- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
