Position title: Community Development Worker
- ^% l5 S" v2 g i* W( T. {( oTerm: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 9 ^3 F) }! i" R

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies( ]8 T7 g' n) M7 J
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members) M6 b" s$ y+ s+ V5 L2 ~7 v2 C: S
- update ASSIST website8 E! I/ o+ \; ^; J) w, M# E. |
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre2 K5 i7 `. \+ q0 d
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services# g: D5 w1 @! a. f1 ?6 j: O% p
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time' x% i: _/ J. Z0 J
- update membership database

Qualifications/ ]# c, u+ }; X3 e- a6 L J0 Q
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ( `4 J9 y) J0 R9 I2 p
experience and education
. ]& D3 g. R. f$ c- good oral and written Chinese and English skills6 |: w" o5 A; t5 Q
- experience in community work and immigrant services
; \' @ p, ]! I) w6 r: y5 u- experience in website update/design
$ ?1 s2 x4 T% m/ j, W1 f. a- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
