Responsibilities:
-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
        implementation of the Summer Camps
, c$ }9 F! R5 R3 a: o; z. i-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
% e7 r+ I2 t- G$ V4 K+ Q( _-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

1 p6 |0 j# Q8 A8 s; kQualifications:
6 a% ^  g0 t1 k# z-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
0 z, \( j/ ^2 ?) H$ f& e-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
# }( n5 j2 n4 T. k- |-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
: E0 ^+ n9 L& K-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
" G4 h/ X% w4 a# e$ M' Q-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
% {/ R- ?2 C0 C* ^" n-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
( j$ }7 ]4 B. C/ }: E, I. W-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
+ E2 h2 G% K; s7 d% A-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
