Responsibilities:
* n0 F6 Y! I+ u/ y3 T+ J9 a( l-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
6 q2 d+ R, O9 ~# e6 }  r  u        implementation of the Summer Camps
( B* @& Y: l+ }9 T3 ~2 N-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

$ L) F+ L$ N$ U, s, LQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
8 o4 X) l4 Z  M0 b8 X-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
* Q$ d7 i% O' U, w& O$ K( c7 M-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
3 F# h9 ]' U- A+ x8 Z: D9 v9 l: w-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
) g/ q% ^! j, f5 q& }-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
2 ?% H4 U  H# ]& M. g% o( {1 p9 w        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
