Children’s Summer Program Assistant, 2009+ v8 o& {6 o$ M/ @

Responsibilities:) y. r3 W1 z& m0 }3 s
- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
+ A7 Y" J" I* d M v9 H- T$ H/ A preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
& r0 w/ q U' O2 _0 H( C7 w" [4 C- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program# u3 F0 q7 t7 j; p
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
% J: L0 g. z1 i' x- C3 H0 C- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program . I2 C3 }, b$ s* {2 Z. ~$ S; i

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
7 [0 u7 M/ F0 B# n# x- u j" O- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood : ]+ R: j) t5 A4 k" q; J |" c
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
! d# W6 I0 Y# s+ S- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
( V6 a0 ~/ ^+ g# a- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills7 Q7 b' s( B' u' ^
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities, m5 V6 p* V# j. q* a2 y7 P
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
2 o8 T. K- t6 f, y# v5 k: `5 C- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) 0 n+ J+ @: \/ v4 F1 `
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
; N* v. r" b4 F0 U6 V- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
