Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
/ ^. v, E7 x- M# dResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
6 e3 {4 F" i! j0 I9 h- Provide orientation for parents
* j' L. Z7 B9 ]; f- Find sponsors to enhance program
: T* ~/ S+ J4 }4 V* ~$ n. C- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

' a( h3 x5 U  @2 Z5 H: f# J  JQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
" J( W  w9 i7 O) x# e/ t- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
. Q# m3 Z! T: O$ |/ F( T' W& v- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
( V- a6 w. y) k- m- good computer skills
: O2 n( t% V: R* `, ^- leadership abilities
- b9 _/ j. W/ w( u& o4 i- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
