Responsibilities:
) c( o% T6 R5 t2 ?7 {% w' \- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
7 ^7 n6 g. p6 s& c7 {2 c- Find sponsors to enhance program
5 S, m: z* u& Z- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

+ m; K# A& K' H0 v; H4 r& RQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* g. l  D" V5 w; J9 M7 {- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
/ V. j2 H. ]1 r7 ?/ K- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
