A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care." f. {( D! L6 |6 n% s
This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and

; z1 o' d( r- }5 G- g4 t• Standard Child Care First Aid

; `6 \7 B7 l, T1 l4 R9 g• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
* k* z1 ^- J8 h# P! j" O0 ^6 R. }• Components to improve communication skills
8 R+ X6 K# K9 _2 Y: m• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

# n* m- s' j8 T v* v% _- \$ w• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen7 o# Y2 l! D7 v: C6 i
of Canada
0 \# Z! N. c) c( h• have a Social Insurance Number
+ S8 z8 T O8 }8 b$ l3 T• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check" C# {: i( |' Z
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent& x6 y* H; N2 ?
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time
* \7 s/ v" I/ u; c" O6 ]program
$ Z; b0 Q, l6 ]# j2 v, e. I+ DParticipants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
5 |% ]0 ~. k! o& u+ e' @' qthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:2 {+ j/ ]2 F2 I, T% S7 S
• be unemployed or underemployed.
